You are invited to take time out of your busy life to unwind, develop knowledge, get a kickstart into fitness and be indulged in nature at its best in a truly beautiful setting. The fitness retreats consists 4 days and 3 nights in a nurturing informal friendly environment where participants are encouraged to take part in all activities but there is absolutely no pressure or judgement. This is an opportunity to reconnect with yourself in a supported environment and come away with life long skills to support your physical and mental well-being.
The retreat takes place at a wonderful venue which has a strong focus on sustainability where all the food you will be eating Is organically grown in the victorian kitchen garden and poly tunnels or sourced locally. The accommodation is a choice of private rooms or shared sleeping arrangements in the main building which is a charming grade II listed rectory built in 1848. There is 60 acres of grounds and lots of comfy communal space and lovely wooded areas for self reflection or just a walk. Within this wonderful place and within the program there is certainly time and space to relax, recharge and reset.
The fitness retreat is delivered by husband and wife team Lucy and Andrew who are both ex military with a eye for detail. FitAgain excels in linking physical health and mental health with a strong emphasis on well-being. Within this we like people to work hard in the classes to get hot and sweaty for physical gains and we also like to improve general well being through teaching strategies such as mindfulness and give information about nutrition for fitness and for the soul. We can guarantee that all aspects of the retreat will be fun, informative and motivating.
The retreat has a strong focus on well-being and within this we invite participants to soak in the beauty and history of the jurassic coast at the same time as getting fit. As already said there is no pressure and you are in control at all times and there is no pressure if you do not want to participate in any of the activities.
